For most of the day, Harry's mind had been occupied with his soon to be realized revenge on Malfoy. Although Malfoy had escaped danger the previous morning, he hadn't been so lucky as to have Crabbe eat his lunch as well. That was the other thing; Crabbe would be suffering from this as well. Although that hadn't been part of the plan, it was a nice side effect. Now all there was to do was to watch and wait for their plan to pay off.
When it was time for the D.A. meeting, however, Harry needed to focus his attention on what he'd be teaching them that night. He'd taken Ginny's advice from the previous week to heart and prepared a lesson plan with different levels of spells, so that everyone could try something that was of an appropriate level for them to practise. He wished Sirius was there to help him teach some of the harder spells that he was still mastering. Still, the group had had enough review. It was time to move forward and challenge the ones who were ready for it. |

Harry opened the door to the Room of Requirement, checking to make sure everything was set up how he needed it. On one side of the room were stacks of wooden crates, and on the other side were stacks of large cushions. The other students would know exactly what they were doing during the meeting when they saw them. Harry thought of it as a reward for the group for making it through the intense Patronus practice the week before. Even if most of the students hadn't managed a Patronus under those conditions, most of them had tried their best, and he knew that the majority of the group enjoyed Stunning their friends and Blasting the crates. Plus there were a few new members who needed to learn the spells. He knew that they'd be relieved to come into the Room and have it be back to normal. |

Harry walked into the Room of Requirement, pleased with the resulting atmosphere. It was cold and dark and gloomy now, with rough hewn walls and the sounds of dripping water echoing as if the cavern went on forever. He looked around and smiled to himself. Hopefully, this would be a good test. |

Harry entered the Room of Requirement, unsure of exactly what they'd be doing that night. Bill Weasley had owled him and offered to come and teach the group some things. Of course, Harry had written right back and said that he'd be glad to have him come anytime he could and they'd arranged to have him teach a few spells this week. As much as he enjoyed teaching the D.A., he was eager to learn anything that might be useful in the future. |

The Room of Requirement was ready for the night's agenda when Harry opened the door. There were a few large stacks of crates stood against one wall and piles of cushions lined another. Tonight would be a night for review, since they only had one week after this before the winter holidays. |

Harry walked into the Room of the Requirement, interested to see what Remus planned on showing them tonight. That is, he was interested to see what Remus would teach them if Remus actually showed up. He'd left rather suddenly during class earlier and Harry was unsure whether or not to expect him. If he didn't show, they could always continue on with the elemental spells they'd been learning. |

| Emergency Meeting: Susan and Ginny are missing |

Harry and Ron paced back and forth in the Room of Requirement, waiting for whoever would come to arrive. Harry had never used the coin like this before, but when he saw that neither Susan nor Ginny was on the map, he had to do something. This was the best way to see if anyone had any information. Also, he wanted to warn them. He hadn't been able to catch Wormtail, and now he might have...
Harry shook his head and crossed his arms over his chest, stopping in the middle of the floor. "We'll find them, Ron..." |

Harry paced back and forth in the Room of Requirement, waiting for the others to get there. For once, he was anxious for them to arrive for some other reason than getting the meeting started. He needed to talk to so many people. At least it would feel good to be surrounded by people he trusted. |

Harry paced back and forth in the seventh floor corridor until the familiar door appeared in the wall next to him. He opened it and went inside. The Room looked much as it had for the past few weeks--firewood, training gloves, target pads, exercise mats--excepting last week when there was no meeting. Harry frowned, remembering the reason they had decided to cancel last weeks meeting. At least Remus was back to his normal self again, even if they had Snape to thank for it. |

Harry entered the Room of Requirement, holding his bandaged right hand in his left. It stung horribly still, and he was pretty sure he shouldn't attempt any wandless magic until it was properly healed. He let his hands drop to the side before anyone arrived; he didn't want anyone asking him what was wrong with it. He closed his eye for a moment and tried to close his mind off from the pain.
He looked around the room. There were a few metal poles at the far end, waiting for the D.A. members to try their hand at a more difficult lightning elemental than last time, and there were small, square stones along two of the other walls for the group to practice the ice elemental they'd learned last time. The blue exercise mats were stacked up by the piles of training gloves and target pads against the fourth wall, the one where the door was. |

Harry paced back and forth three times outside of the Room of Requirement, and finally the door appeared. He entered the Room, noting that it was set up precisely as Sirius had directed. The stone walls were bare and the Room was empty except for several piles of firewood distributed around the perimeter of the floor. He had also instructed the Room to set up elemental wards against fire on everything other than the wood. |

Harry strode down the corridor toward the Room. A small group had formed outside of where the door should have been and he received a mixed collection of curious and relieved looks when he arrived. He wasn't sure why no one else had opened the Room, but he didn't really care. |
