| | annoyed | ] | Miss Luna Lovegood wanted to be creative and make a dress for the spring dance out of burlap. But certain people would hear nothing of it.
I am now stuck with a dress that is too pretty for me, shoes that are too strappy and a bag that I'll only use once! This is re-godric-diculous! If Fleur thinks she's getting near me with that makeup...she has another thing coming! |

[Feb. 28th, 2004|07:11 pm] |
I forgot my own birthday! It was quite an odd occurance, indeed. You see, I've been so busy lately with my secret infilitration of the DP pet project that is Top Secret So Please Keep Out, that the dates had been escaping me. Instead of thinking it to be Saturday, February 28, I really just thought of it as Saturday. Oh dear.
Thank you, Tonks, for the lovely gifts! They are hippolicious! I am most appreciative. Ta! |

| Valentine's Day |
[Feb. 14th, 2004|12:17 am] |
Today is Valentine's Day. Saint Valentine had his heart ripped out. How this came to be a symbol of hearts, flowers and dumpy blokes in nappy's...I do not know.
I bought Justin a gift and we're going to spend some time together this afternoon. I am quite excited, as I have been up to my nose in my secret plan to bring about the downfall of the DP school work.
Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! |

| | confused | ] | Sometimes, Justin is the funniest person I know. Other times, I just don't get him. He told me the following joke today:
Two nuns are biking down a cobblestone path. One nun says 'I've never come this way before.' The other nun replies, 'Must be the cobbles.'
Would someone please explain the punchline? Justin just sighed and told me I was cute when I told him I didn't understand the punchline, but he wouldn't. It was extremely frustrating, and if anyone gets this joke and would care to tell me why it was funny, I would appreciate it.
COLIN! I need to talk to you as soon as possible! |

Front!
Miss Luna Lovegood is back at school, indeed, and her eyes are healed! Justin gave me some books by a man named Roald Dahl and now that my eyes are healed I'll be able to read them. Truly, a red letter week!
I want a big glass elevator, a giant peach and a chocolate factory. Hmmpf. |

| | uncomfortable | ] | I am in the hospital. Some of you know. Some of you don't. I injured my eyes, and will be late coming to school. I was masking my eyes with sunshades but the doctors have since bandaged them. My eyes are too sensitive to the light...
My father is getting married. Next month. On Valentine's Day. I think that's...hokey. But he seems very happy, so I guess I should be happy too. Lisa and Sarah visited me. We played Hungry, Hungry Hippo's. Professor Lupin visited as well. I would say Justin visited...but, 'camped out by my hospital bed for a week' is more accurate. It's quite lovely. All Justin, all the time! Hee. |

| | discontent | ] | So far, here is what I got for Christmas. Obviously, Sarah, Lisa, Justin and I haven't exchanged gifts yet so I don't know what I got from them.
-pajamas with hippo's on them -perfume from my Kathleen. It's alright, I suppose, if you like toilet water. -a birds nest hat from Ginny, which is beautiful and which will be worn the first day back to school. -Emma, by Jane Austen -Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Suess -Yertle the Turtle and Other Stories -a small wooden coop in the backyard for when Mr. Snuff and I come home. -hippopotamous slippers!!! -10 galleons from my mother's parents.
I learned that my father and Kathleen are expecting a baby. This is rather disgusting. They're also getting married, and I've been asked to be a bridesmaid. |

[Dec. 23rd, 2003|07:56 am] |
Was I the only on who didn't know Gryffindors glow in the dark? Colin told me this today.
Wow. That's...I wish I glowed in the dark...
Lisa, Sarah, did you guys know this?
I need to go and shower because I have to floo to Justin's soon. I wish I could apparate. I really do dislike floo'ing. |

| | "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" by The Proclaimers | ] | I have been struck by a Very Good Idea. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you what this Very Good Idea is. But you will all see for yourselves soon enough. I guarantee it.
Today was a very good day, much better than yesterday. No strange post or nosebleeds. Instead, I got a visit from Ginny! AND!!! I got a Christmas gift from Colin. Knickers. It was very thoughtful gift, indeed, and I will think of him when I wear them.
Speaking of knickers, the squid DID, indeed, steal all of mine. 'Oh, Luna, that's nonsense! Why would the Squid steal your knickers?...you're just being Loony again!' HA! SHOWS HOW MUCH YOU KNOW!!!!! Snorkacks on all of you!
Tomorrow will also be a good day. I am floo'ing to Justin's and we are going to go into the muggle district of London to shop for Christmas gifts for no one in particular. I was thinking of maybe picking something up for David, as well. But...I don't know what his hobbies are, aside from living in fear of Sarah and Lisa. Perhaps a rubber chicken would be appropriate...I will have to think on it some more.
I have managed to avoid my father since I have been home, and thus have not heard his Very Big News. Boo. Hoo. |

| Letter? |

I gave myself a bloody nose this morning. The post came and I was walking and reading and well...I got some very very interesting post this morning...and a door sort of appeared out of nowhere while I was walking and...ow.
...I'm not entirely sure, but I think perhaps someone has played a joke on me.
[private]
Who in their right bloody mind would send me a love letter? I am trying extremely hard not to think of the fact that it was signed with Justin's initials. I am almost positive that this is someone's idea of a joke. Firstly, Justin has better sense than to like a plain Jane Loony like me and secondly, well, I know for a fact that Justin's writing skills are more eloquent.

PILLSBURY DOUGHBOY EARRINGS!!!!!!!! This is fabulous! And I also recieved...I'm not sure what it is, but it's got a face and it's nifty!
I know what the Pillsbury Doughboy is! Once, over hols, Justin told his sister she'd put on a few and that she looked like him, and I didn't know what that meant, so him Mum showed me a roll of biscuits with his picture on the package. I thought he was quite squishy and adorable.
THANK YOU SECRET SANTA! |

Thank you very much to every one who came, even if I hissed at you didn't get a chance to thank you personally, I was glad to get such a good turnout!
I sent me Secret Santa gift yesterday, I hope the recipient was very pleased. Speaking of gifts, I still have to exchange gifts with Ginny, Lisa, Sarah and Justin. Lisa and Justin are always eays but this year, Sarah, you were hard to shop for! =D Ginny, I think you will like what I got you.
The Yule Ball is tomorrow night. I'm nervous and can't figure out why. I'm excited! |

| | angry | ] | You know what pisses me off? The ideal that it's not "okay" to think certain things until someone tells you to. No, really. I was thinking about this today. And you know...95% of you people (I'd say human beings but the term really does seem rather inaccurate, doesn't it?) treated me like dirt beneath your feet. That is, until, the Great Harry Potter (no offense, Harry) set the standard, and made it "acceptable" to be nice to the school reject. But really, you know, I'm not in the mood to talk about me.
Sarah and Lisa...let me tell you 'people' a little something about those two girls. They befriended me, while the rest of you stole my things, pushed me into the river with that revolting squid, and threw things as my head as I walked by. Oh, that is, of course, until someone 'cool' befriended me. Not Sarah. Not Lisa. They were there from the beginning, and they didn't just write me off because I refused to be a carbon copy sheep like most of you.
Big FUCKING deal, if Sarah and Lisa aren't as serious or somber as some of you. It doesn't make them any less mature, or worthy. What mose of you DON'T know about them could fill the sodding Grand Canyon.
So you know what? All of you who were rude to me before..you can stop pretending. But if you have something against Lisa or Sarah and you don't have a decent reason, then you can say you have something against me, too. |

I have acquired a dress for the Yule Ball. It's...well...I wanted an orange dress with black polka dots...but Sarah and Lisa put their foot down and told me to this dress instead. I think it's too sexy provactive for me...but they realy liked it.
...I am going to wear Christas light earrings. |

I was wandering in the cabbage matches yesterday, hoping to find some mice and entice Lola to become a mouser (she was clearly interested and the excursion only added to her usual cantankerousness) when I found a baby chick! It's tiny and yellow and I was thinking I might make it a pet. But I would need a name of course. But then...well, I'n not entirely sure Lola would approve. Except that she weighs about 15 lbs and honestly...she probably wouldn't exert herself so much as to make much of a fuss. Decisions, decisions. I think having a pet chicken would be right fun! |

OH! OH! And! My 'delicates' as Sarah and Lisa say have been taken. Again. I do not think it is possible to really express how much of an imposition this puts me in.
Flippin' snorkacks. Today is, definitely, not a good day. |

| | "Asleep" by the Smiths | ] | I made a skirt today. I sewed it myself. The material has octopi on it. I find it very curious that while I have quite an aversion to the Giant Squid, I very much like this skirt. Maybe because the squid is ugly, but the octopi on my skirt are very cute. Like muggle...cartoons? I think that's what they're called anyhow.
8 days until the hogsmeade trip. I'm very excited. So is Lola, the cat. I'm going to get her more catnip. I need to take her to Hagrid; her hairballs are getting much worse. But she's very old. I think she may die in the next few years. Which isn't good.
I need to owl my father. But I have this weird feeling, like I don't want to. Odd. |

Does anyone happen to know what havering is? |
